About Me

I’m a mother, grandmother, youth leader, consultant, speaker, and writer. I have spent the last 35 years working as a teacher and youth leader in my church. I have a love for the scriptures and have enjoyed teaching gospel doctrine classes to the adults and early morning religion for high school students. As a “day job” I am a business consultant. I work with various clients providing business structuring, project management, accounting, property management, and audit support.

As a follower of Jesus Christ I am striving daily to be more like Him. Years ago every summer I would take the girls from my church on a backpack trip. Some of them had never been backpacking before and would stop constantly for breaks. I’d tell them, ”See that tree up there? You keep putting one foot in front of another and don’t stop until you reach that point.” Walking the covenant path is much the same. God has laid out a path for us to follow. We know that walking that path will ultimately enable us to enjoy all of the gifts and promises we’ve been given, but the pack is heavy, the path is steep and may seem unending. All He wants us to do is keep our eye on the goal and keep putting one foot in front of the other. He doesn’t care how slow we are. He just wants us to stay on the path, help others behind us, and keep moving.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Any my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30
